Vintage 1960's sofa

description & details

Stunning 1960s three seater sofa we believe to be manufactured by British company Greaves and Thomas.

A truly spectacular sofa! Incredibly well built with a solid beech inner frame and solid Afrormosia leg frame - this is a well constructed piece of furniture of which its quality is totally of the era - they don’t make them like this anymore!

It boasts a classic 1960s shape with beautiful sculpted Afrormosia armrests and more unusual splayed back legs... a very smart piece of mid century design - it will certainly make a talking point in its new home.

Newly re-upholstered using a gorgeous dark charcoal grey 100% melton felt wool.... a superior quality upholstery textile with a soft and cosy weave which looks perfect against the Afrormosia.

The condition of this piece is completely original and is quite superb! Almost immaculate, with only very lightest signs of use when looking up very close.... it displays perfectly.
